Mr. Burguieres is a founding member of the firm having been
associated with a prominent Tampa Bay
Area civil litigation firm from 1984 to
1992.
He is an accomplished trial
lawyer with a long history of winning
and closing complex litigation disputes
as well as a reputation for obtaining
quick recovery of a client’s problem
accounts receivable whether for
institutional lenders, banks, credit
unions or building material suppliers in
the construction industry.
Mr. Burguieres has successfully
obtained large jury verdicts in favor of
clients whether for business wrongs or
for individuals who are victims of the
negligence and carelessness of others.
In addition, he has negotiated
substantial settlements during well over
a hundred cases and during the course of
litigation.
As he is quick to say, “I abhor
costly, time-consuming and unfocused
litigation due to efforts that delay.
My clients typically do not want
litigation that spirals out of control
and so issue containment is crucial to
obtain efficiencies and keep the pace of
a lawsuit on a desirable timetable”. |

“My
focus for over 25 years has been
protection of businesses and of my
individual clients in commercial
disputes, business litigation, injury
claims and collection of problem
accounts receivable. My
experience combined with a proven
ability to litigate in any appropriate
forum, enables me to quickly spot key
issues and identify solutions to the
diverse legal problems my clients face.
I take pride in being able to
solve legal problems efficiently and
cost effectively. Some
legal concerns are simply too important
to be handled by inexperienced
associates or by an attorney delegated
by a mega-firm to handle your matter, an
attorney you didn’t choose.
Clients that retain me to resolve
their legal problems have my personal
attention and benefit from at least 25
years of trial experience. I
have what it takes to protect your
interests in court and to achieve
results that are in line with both your
budget and your expectations.” |
